Silver Shark 3" to 4" - Balantocheilos Melanopterus

The Silver Sharks are a big fish for a normal size aquarium but that being said they are slow growers. They are relatively peaceful the exemption of very small fish which may be seen as prey. They usually do not bother a tank mate unless they are bothered. They can happily live in groups or singly as long as they are not harassed by tank mates. they need swimming space so less cluttered tanks is optimal. They are a sensitive fish so if water parameters are wrong they will one of the first to die. They will accept all types of food but love being offered brineshrimp and mysis.
