Care Notes:
Burgess’ Butterfly is a striking and rare butterflyfish known for its bold black, white, and yellow pattern. It requires a mature reef tank with plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding. This species is a specialized feeder, preferring a diet of small meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. It can be challenging to keep due to its sensitive nature and specific dietary needs. Not reef safe, as it may nip at corals and sessile invertebrates, but it can be beneficial in controlling aiptasia anemones. Best suited for experienced aquarists.
