Care Notes:
The Roundfin Batfish is a stunning and unique species with a large, flat body and bat-like fins, making it an eye-catching addition to any marine tank. While hardy and adaptable, they require a large tank with ample swimming space, as they can grow quite large. They thrive in peaceful environments with other non-aggressive fish and need a diet of meaty foods such as shrimp, krill, and occasional plant-based options. Though they are generally peaceful, they are not reef safe and may nip at corals. They do best in fish-only setups or with caution in larger reef tanks. Keeping them in groups is ideal, as they are social and become more active and comfortable with other Roundfin Batfish.
