Care Notes:
The Marble Batfish is a striking species with a flat, oval-shaped body and wide, bat-like fins. This species is known for its unique marble-like patterning, which gives it a dramatic look in aquariums. They are peaceful and social, best kept in groups to help them feel secure and reduce stress. Due to their large size, they need a spacious tank with plenty of swimming space and hiding spots. While they are hardy and adaptable, they are not reef safe and may nip at corals, so they are best suited for fish-only tanks or larger setups with other non-aggressive fish. Their diet consists of meaty foods such as shrimp and krill, and they may also accept plant matter. Marble Batfish can be a fantastic addition to a fish-only tank where they have ample room to swim and showcase their beauty.
