Care Notes: The Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish is a compact, slow-moving predator known for its fuzzy appearance ( we don’t recommend trying to hug them though) and mottled coloration. Native to the Indo-Pacific, it prefers tanks with low light, plenty of hiding places, and minimal water flow. It is peaceful toward larger tankmates but will eat small fish and invertebrates. It feeds on meaty foods such as shrimp and small marine fish. Like other lionfish, it has venomous spines. It can be housed with coral but not with crabs, shrimp, or small fish.
