Unlike many anemones, the Tube Anemone lacks a true foot that it is able to move around with, instead it secretes a mucous around its body where it forms a tube that it resides in. This is typically within the sand bed where it then will spread its tentacles out. These tentacles vary in colours however are typically neon with a contrasting set of smaller tentacles in the center. They are non-photosynthetic and rely on capturing food such as floating debris. This means they may also consume smaller, clumsy fish within the aquaria. These anemones will not host fish species. Ensure a deep sand bed is available for them to properly develop and give them weekly feedings to keep them nice and happy. A unique species with a great range of neon colours.
