The Curly Q anemone is an unusual specimen with stripe pattern tentacles that curl an attractive fashion. They tend to be tan to orange coloured with white accents. Although they are a photosynthetic species they to enjoy eating meaty food. Care must be taken as this species can be more aggressive than other anemone species and care should be taken around slow fish. This species is a rare find in the trade. They can host anemone dwelling species of shrimp and crab such as Porcelein Crabs. As with many anemones, they will move around the tank until they have found a suitable spot, typically in the sand bed. A weird anemone that sets its itself alone due to its unique pattern and shape.
