Care Notes: The Yellow Goby is a small, peaceful fish native to the Indo-Pacific, particularly around Okinawa. It features a bright yellow body and is known for its sedentary lifestyle, often perching among the branches of Acropora corals. This species thrives in well-established reef aquariums with ample live rock and coral structures for shelter. While generally reef safe, it may occasionally nip at coral polyps, so caution is advised when housing with delicate corals. The Yellow Goby feeds on small meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. It is suitable for nano tanks due to its small size but should be kept singly or as a bonded pair to prevent territorial disputes.
