Care Notes: The Crosshatch Goby is a peaceful sand-sifting fish native to the Indo-Pacific. It features a light tan to cream-colored body adorned with intricate, branching lines resembling a crosshatch pattern. This species thrives in reef aquariums with sandy substrates and ample rockwork for shelter. It feeds on small invertebrates and organic matter found within the substrate, requiring frequent feedings of small meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. While generally peaceful, it may become territorial towards similar species. A secure lid is recommended as it can jump. Best kept singly or as a bonded pair.
