The MultiLux LED is a high-performance, energy-saving LED light unit for your JUWEL aquarium. The replaceable DAY and NATURE LED tubes create an optimum light spectrum for plants and fish, while saving up to 50 % of energy in comparison to T5 light units at the same time.

Up to 50% energy saving in comparison to T5 fluorescent tubes, due to energy-saving LED DAY and NATURE lighting media.

Replaceable real glass LED lighting media enable the simple replacement of the LED lighting media. The available DAY, NATURE and COLOUR LED tubes are freely combinable and enable individual lighting moods in your aquarium.

The high-tech membrane within the Multilux LED prevents moisture penetration and promotes controlled air exchange.

These light bars are completely different to the T5 units in as much as the connection to the tube are through one end cap only (the RED end). This is designed like this to meet the current European safety norms, it ensures that if one end is connected whilst the other is not then there is no risk of shock to the user if they accidently touch the exposed end of the tube.
The red tube end must be inserted into the end cap with the red dot as shown in the attached image. The system will not work if this is not the case.

T5 bulbs will not work in this light unit.
