Care Notes: The Rock Hopper is a colorful hawkfish native to the Indo-Pacific. It has a distinctive pattern of red, white, and black with striking markings around the eyes. This species prefers aquariums with plenty of live rock for perching and hiding. It is semi-aggressive and may defend its territory. Its diet consists of small meaty foods like mysis shrimp and brine shrimp. Suitable for reef tanks with caution due to territorial behavior. Will eat smaller inverts such as shrimp.
