A favourite among aquarist, This firm favourite do have fussy expectations for water parameters but keep them just right I they will reward you amazing displays of colours. They prefer aquariums that are well plants with caves to live upon. They live happily in aquariums with other peaceful harmonise fish. They prefer lower ph  and warmer water, hence many people keep them with discus. They will eat flake and pellet food but thrive on frozen food. They come in different variations blue/balloon/longfin/gold/electric blue and black .
