Khuli Loach

The Kuhli Loach is a distinctive and peace?loving freshwater tropical fish, recognised for its eel?like body shape and bold dark banding. Popular with aquarists who enjoy natural behaviour, Kuhli Loaches spend much of their time exploring the lower levels of the aquarium and hiding among plants, wood, and décor.

Naturally shy and mostly active during the evening, Kuhli Loaches thrive in calm community tanks with soft substrates and plenty of hiding places. They are social fish and should be kept in groups, where they feel more secure and display more confident behaviour. Their gentle nature makes them safe to keep with other peaceful tropical species.

Kuhli Loaches are excellent scavengers, helping to consume uneaten food that settles on the aquarium floor. They accept sinking pellets, wafers, and frozen foods, supporting good health and natural activity when fed a varied diet.
