Chocolate gourami - Sphaerichthys Osphronemoides

Not a fish suitable for the beginner or a normal community aquarium, It is rather peaceful but nervous fish, that should be kept in pairs in either a species tank or with non boisterous fish. A well planted tank, with peat filtration and warm temp is paramount. Susceptible to bacterial and protozoan infections if right conditions are not met.
