The yellow-tailed African tetra are from Africa, they eat any flakes, frozen or live food or granules at least some of which should include additional plant or algal content. Males are more colorful and tend to grow faster than females. males also develops extended white-tipped dorsal, ventral, caudal and anal fins which females lack. and as the name suggests a yellow tail. Peaceful fish but don’t put with any nippy fish which might nip their fins.
PH 6.8 TO 7.5 but they do prefer more acidic water
