Neon Black diamonds

 Black Diamond Neon Tetra are similar to Black Neon Tetras, but they lack the clear white line seen in the Black Neon Tetra. Even though they are called Neon Tetra the Black Neon Tetra belongs to a different genus & native to Paraguay basin in South America. The Black neon tetra grows up to 1.4 inches in length, and look stunning in a shoal of 6 or more. They do prefer acidic water conditions & the black neon tetra can tolerate a much higher pH level than the Neon Tetra.  Black diamond neon tetra & the neon tetra share the same temperament which makes them great tank mates.  Black Neon Tetra or Black diamond neon tetra. prefer a  planted tank with driftwood with lots of open space for them to swim, black neon tetra spend lots of time in the mid area of the aquarium.
