Praecox - Melanotaenia Praecox

An excellent addition to a community tank or planted tank. They are peaceful fish, with eye catching colours, keep them in groups of 6 or more and they will reward you endless display of colours and they shoal around your aquarium. these colours are emphasised when dense planting and pieces of bogwood are added to the decor. They are a broad feeder and like flake, pellet, livefood or frozen food.
