Nothobranchius rachovii, often called the Rachovii Killifish, is one of the most striking freshwater species available, known for its electric blue body, fiery orange patterning, and flowing fins. This small, peaceful annual killifish thrives in soft, slightly acidic water and looks incredible in a planted or mossy aquarium with gentle lighting.
Best kept in species?only setups or with very calm tankmates, Rachovii Killifish do well in harems of one male to several females. Their colours intensify with a high?protein diet of live or frozen foods, and their natural behaviours shine in a quiet, low?flow environment.
With their short but spectacular lifespan, Nothobranchius rachovii is perfect for aquarists who appreciate rare, vibrant species and want a truly eye?catching centrepiece fish.
