The Raffles Butterfly is a colorful and distinctive butterflyfish with a yellow body, black facial mask, and bold vertical black stripes on its sides. It thrives in fish-only with rock tanks that offer plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding spots. Its diet should include a variety of meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. Not reef safe, as it may nip at corals and sessile invertebrates. Best suited for intermediate to experienced aquarists due to its specific dietary needs and activity level.
