Care Notes: The Clown Trigger is a bold and highly aggressive species found throughout the Indo-Pacific. It has a striking appearance with a dark body covered in white spots, a yellow snout, and vibrant patterns along its fins. While juveniles may appear peaceful, adults become territorial and often harass tankmates. This trigger requires a large aquarium with sturdy rockwork and open swimming space. It feeds on a wide variety of meaty foods, including clams, squid, shrimp, and marine pellets. It is not suitable for reef tanks due to its aggressive nature and tendency to eat invertebrates. A truly magnificent trigger species granted its conditions are met.
