Care Notes:
Naked Orange Clownfish are a unique morph of the Amphiprion ocellaris, distinguished by their bright orange bodies and the absence of the typical black stripes along their sides. Instead, they feature only a thin outline of black around their eyes, giving them a “naked” look that highlights their vivid coloration. These clownfish are hardy, peaceful, and easy to care for, making them an excellent choice for both beginner and intermediate aquarists. As omnivores, they thrive on a varied diet of high-quality pellets, frozen brine shrimp, mysis, and algae. While they don’t require an anemone, they can form a symbiotic relationship with one in the wild. Naked Orange Clownfish are generally peaceful but may become territorial with other clownfish. They do best in tanks with stable water conditions, plenty of hiding spots, and compatible reef-safe species.
