Maximum Size: Up to 2.5 inches
Temperature Range: 75–80°F
pH Range: 8.1–8.4
Reef Safe: Yes
Care Notes: The Green Goby is a small, peaceful fish native to the Indo-Pacific. It has a bright green body with darker markings and sometimes blue highlights around the eyes. This species thrives in reef tanks with plenty of live rock and coral for shelter, often associating closely with Acropora corals. It feeds on small meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. While generally reef safe, it may nip at coral polyps, so caution is advised when housing with delicate corals. A secure lid is recommended as it can jump. Best kept singly or in bonded pairs.
