Care Notes: The Freckled Hawk is a robust hawkfish native to the Indo-Pacific, featuring a spotted body with a mix of brown, white, and orange colors. It prefers aquariums with plenty of rockwork and caves for hiding. This species is territorial and can be aggressive, often harassing smaller fish and invertebrates. It feeds on meaty foods such as shrimp, small fish, and crustaceans. Due to its aggressive nature and diet, it is not suitable for reef tanks.
