Found throughout tropical oceans, it requires a spacious tank with strong filtration and minimal aggressive tankmates. It feeds on hard-shelled invertebrates such as crabs, snails, and shrimp, and will readily accept prepared meaty foods. This species is not reef safe and may nip at or consume tankmates and decorations.
