The Mini-Maxi Carpet Anemone is a staff favourite at Coral Reef as it is one of the easiest anemones to keep and comes in a vast array of colours. They are small, hardy and easy to keep making it the ideal creature for beginners looking to house an anemone within their tank. As they are small they are also great for nano tanks where species such as Anemone Crabs or Shrimp can form their symbiotic bond with them. Many hobbyists enjoy making Mini-Maxi Anemone gardens in their tank where they collect multiple specimens in a range of colours to create a beautiful display. They require moderate lighting and flow and can be fed a couple of times a week using Mysis or other small meaty foods. Their tentacles are short meaning they look almost more flat in appearance. A fantastic species that is sure to add the wow factor.
