The Carpet Anemone is the poster child for anemones. They are large and impressive, having a carpet like growth typically on the aquarium sand bed which sprawls outwards creating a vast carpet of beautifully coloured tentacles. Carpet Anemones are an impressive species that should only be kept by the experienced fish keeper due to their high care needs. Besides growing to an impressive size meaning they need a large aquarium, they require strong lighting and good flow to ensure their flatter oral disc is kept free of debris. The Carpet Anemone is an aggressive species with a potent sting however will readily host clownfish. If given the appropriate care, the carpet anemone makes a truly magnificent display specimen that will easily be the centerpiece of the aquarium. 

The White Carpet Anemone is an unusual fluorescent white colour. It is a Haddons carpet anemone meaning that the tentacles are a little longer than other carpet anemone species and the oral disc undulates and rolls into a nice pattern rather being completely flat.
